In September 2003, Cornerstone Reformed Church, of Carbondale, IL constituted Christ Church of Searcy, AR. The original congregation was comprised by four families who, through a variety of circumstances, had recently moved to Searcy, AR. In October of that year, the Confederation of Reformed Evangelical Churches granted candidate status to Christ Church. In October 2005, Christ Church received full membership status in the CREC.

Our Distinctives

1. Covenant Renewal Worship - A Biblical and historical pattern of worship which honors the Triune God by seeking the Father’s blessing in Jesus as we present our entire lives as service to Him and the Holy Spirit grants the fullness of communion.
2. Covenantal Emphasis - Actively seeking to embody God’s design for our lives and families, we embrace the fullness of the promises God to believers and their children, welcoming all those that are baptized to participate in worship including the communion meal.
3. Wise and Robust Christian Living - Seeking to applying the wisdom of Scripture as we enjoy the Christian life.
4. Historic, Reformed, and Evangelical Theology - humbly standing in the line of historic and Protestant churches while embracing the ideals of the faitfhul in all ages.
